If we're seeing it hit our
tender@tenderapp.com

address, it should be accepted.

ricktag:help.tenderapp.com,2008-11-12:Comment/6142932009-11-20T16:53:37Z2009-11-20T16:53:37ZSupport emails sent via bcc are lost

hm... after further testing, it seems to work OK.
I think what happened is that we had sent 2 emails with
the same body. The second wasn't taken into account by TenderApp
(no error message or anything).

It seems to us that a 2nd email with the same body is
automatically discarded (we would prefer it to be accepted).

Erictag:help.tenderapp.com,2008-11-12:Comment/6142932009-11-20T17:09:11Z2009-11-20T17:09:11ZSupport emails sent via bcc are lost

That's the autoresponder protection. It's so you don't wake up
to the aftermath of a war between our comment notifications and
some other service's autoreply emails. It should only matter if the
two emails were posted in the same 24 hour timespan. I'll see if
there's a bug in that system.

Also, the extra email should be in the trash, not completely
discarded.

ricktag:help.tenderapp.com,2008-11-12:Comment/6142932009-11-20T17:15:00Z2009-11-20T17:15:00ZSupport emails sent via bcc are lost

OK, I understand now, thanks.

And thanks for mentioning Trash. I hadn't notice it.
I'd suggest disabling by default the sending of emails to Trash
(and Spam -- some of our test emails ended up there).

It would be less automagic, but the behavior of the
AutoResponder would be clearer to users.

Erictag:help.tenderapp.com,2008-11-12:Comment/6142932009-11-20T17:30:45Z2009-11-20T17:30:45ZSupport emails sent via bcc are lost

If we disabled it, no one would activate it until they had 2000
new emails in their category, when it's an emergency. I'd
like to avoid that if possible :) We're planning some kind of
notification system though. Some place where we could notify you of
initial events and milestones, such as receiving your first spam
email.

ricktag:help.tenderapp.com,2008-11-12:Comment/6142932009-11-20T17:32:48Z2009-11-20T17:32:48ZSupport emails sent via bcc are lost

Yes, sounds useful.

Eric
