Couple of Questions (SEO, Mass Close, Locking Tickets)

Hey guys,

We have been using Tender for almost 3 years at Untappd and it's a great tool - however I have common issues that we see over and over again:

1. Is there a way to prevent Google from crawling our search pages for posts in certain categories? We'd like our users information to never be published and if they forget to press private - we have an instant issue there.

2. Since we are small team, sometimes we can't get to every single message and close it. It there a way to do a mass close of all tickets in X category or overall?

3. Is it possible to prevent other users from commenting on the same ticket (i.e only the creator can comments)? Surprisingly, most people get confused when someone who isn't the Support Tasks ads their two cents. We don't want this to be a forum system, but a ticketing system.

   Greg -

   1. For those certain categories, do you need them to be public for your customers to use other discussions as a reference? If not, the easiest thing to do would make the category itself private and then you don't have to rely on the customer remembering to make the discussion private. Otherwise once you make the discussion private it should fall off Google search results once they reindex (usually a week) the site.

   2. Activity filters would allow you to set up a filter that would close all discussions older than X days/weeks. Or you could return them to pending after X days so you're team could give them the once over before closing. Otherwise you could use the "All Discussions" view to bulk close discussions manually.

   3. You could disable the forum feature so that users can see all discussions but can only respond to their own discussions in public categories. You can read more here - https://help.tenderapp.com/kb/setup-installation/locking-down-your-....
