the search function is not particularly useful and effective. I
have had the same experience. Many times I find myself search for a
word I know to be in more than one discussion and get zero results.
Whats up with tender search?</p>

2). Narrowing it down to 'search effective' I get exactly this

<p>Are you sure that you're not searching FAQs when you're looking
for discussions? You can set the default search functionality in
Admin / Site Settings (either FAQs or Discussions). By default, we
search for FAQs to head off new support questions.</p>
<p>Let me know if you have any more specific searches and results
