API timing out
Hey guys,
I have our app set to time out after 14 seconds and for the past 30 (maybe 60) minutes our attempts to connect to the Tender API seem to be timing out. Here's the error we're getting back from Patron (Ruby cURL library):
Patron::TimeoutError - Operation timed out after 14001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received
It seems to be making the connection as I can telnet the port 443 ok but the looks like it's not responding.

I was just able to connect and reply to some discussions. Looks like she's back.

Hi Travis,
We had a huge incoming traffic spike a while ago which lasted about 15-20 minutes, then it went away for about 30 minutes, came back again, and went away again.... We're investigating the issue to find out who is swamping our system with traffic.
