really upset about email addresses leaking out into public
discussions.

The easiest workaround (and I see you tried a few already) is to
embed email addresses in backticks (the tick to the left of 1,

) so it'd be like
email@address.com`

Courtenaytag:help.tenderapp.com,2008-11-12:Comment/395152962016-03-30T15:30:16Z2016-03-30T17:20:19ZIs there a way to override the [email blocked] feature

Wait, I take that back. Looks like it's stripping those out too.
Let me work on that for you.

Courtenaytag:help.tenderapp.com,2008-11-12:Comment/395152962016-03-30T16:53:22Z2016-03-30T17:20:19ZIs there a way to override the [email blocked] feature

Update: if you (support user) reply to a user in a private

html spans around them, like so

MyName@MyCompany.com

That addresses the current problem.
That would not be ideal for those who subscribe to those posts, as
I think the emailed content would contain the html.
However, for the time being, this should do.

donald.kratt
