Doc on autoresponders, unclaimed profiles
I'm trying to understand what an unclaimed profile means and how
it relates to auto responders, if it does.
In particular this morning I noticed an issue that is 'unclaimed' despite having what looks like a valid email address.
The message at the top says "This discussion was never reclaimed. You can claim this discussion for xxxx"
and I'm unable to respond to the issue.
I don't know what this means, whether I should 'claim' the issue, or how to take action on the question. Please advise.

I just finished up writing the first draft FAQ for this here: https://help.tenderapp.com/faqs/general-use/unclaimed-profiles
I'll be polishing off the UI for this workflow this week to make things a bit clearer, but to answer your question -- unclaimed profiles and autoresponders are separate features.
Unclaimed discussions are discussions created by users with accounts that created issues while logged out, and did not log in after creating the issue. This allows us to catch issues without forcing people to log in, but still protect users from spammers creating issues on their behalf.
