Getting my feet wet with tender to demo to our support shop, I was curious on some features that weren't readily obvious to a new user..

  1. Do I have have the ability to edit the form fields of this form "Start a New Discussion"?
  2. Do I have the ability to edit the term "Start a new Discussion" to "Report an Issue" or other more appro language for my service?
  3. Is there any way from the dashboard to create a new ticket? We commonly will get non-web support queries that we enter ourselves into our existing system stemming from a phone call or watercooler conversation.

Lastly, more of a feature request - is it possible to have multiple forms for submitting an issue with different customizable fields?

Thanks, - Jon

    1. Nope. How would you want to edit them?
    2. Nope. It's an idea we've kicked around. But the more we make customizable on the frontend, the more difficult it is for us to make updates to the site. You can see the current customizable options under Site Settings => Customize.
    3. Not yet, this is something we plan to add.
    4. Nope. We've kicked around this idea as well. We'll be opening up an API if you want to create custom forms. However, if you use our single sign on cookie or URL token format, you can pass custom attributes that get included when users post new discussions. For example, when people come to the Lighthouse-focused Tender site, we encode their Lighthouse admin URL so we can quickly see details on their account. We'll be posting more details on the SSO multipass token format really soon, as we just deployed it very recently.
