due to the google chrome pressure, I would like to move our current support site into a ssl secure site.
what do you need for that?

I currently own a multidomain *.mycompany.com certificate, but I guess it is a bad idea to use it. So I guess I have to buy a support.mydomain.com certificate and send it to you?

How will you then proceed? Will I have to change our current CNAME to a new ip address?

    Yes, and yes.

    • Set your dns cname to point at ssl.tenderapp.com.
    • You can attach the cert here as a PFX file and we'll delete it after use, or, you can encrypt it with gpg for [email blocked] (search on pgp.mit.edu / 0x683fc03d6927c017 ) and send.
