How do I change the requester of a ticket
hey,
I sometimes want to open a support ticket for a customer but it gets assigned to me. How do I put the ticket in their name so they start receiving the emails?
Thanks,
Jana

Hi Jana,
There are two means by which you can make a ticket so that the user you're creating the discussion for will receive email updates (one creates the discussion "as" the user, the other simply adds them as a watcher to a brand new discussion):
1) If you received the original request via email, use the account you use on Tender to forward the message into your Tender site. It will automatically create a discussion "from" that person on their behalf.
2) On your dashboard, you can create a new discussion (there's a Create a Discussion link at the top of the left-side nav) and add the user as a watcher. This doesn't create the discussion "as" them but they will immediately be added to all emails for that discussion.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks!
Tim
