Is there support for attachments in the API?

I would like to be able to programatically attach documents (in a private comment would be a bonus) to a discussion. I don't see any references in the API documentation to adding attachments to discussions, or even how to read them. Is this supported?

   I'm integrating Tender support into my site and software very soon, and I'd love to be able to integrate attachment support directly. Can anyone comment on whether this is possible? "Not in the next two weeks" is an OK answer too, I'm cool with this being a feature request.

   Hey Mike. I apologize about the delay in response. I'm sorry, but there isn't currently attachment support in the API. We're in the process of migrating our systems to a new server setup, after that we should be focusing on more refinement and future dev, which a portion of that includes polish areas of the API and adding new features.

   Hi,

   This is a pretty old discussion, but I just wanted to correct the response: we do support attachments with the API. The KB article has been updated to reflect that.
