Form data persistence in Tender Widget

This might be a tricky issue to solve but one of our users recently reported frustration after he started writing a new discussion within the Tender widget, then switched the Knowledge Base tab only to discover that everything he had typed in the "Start a new discussion" tab had disappeared.

Losing form data is one of the most frustrating experience users can face in the browser. Ideally switching tabs wouldn't cause a full iframe refresh, or the form data should be cached in either local storage or the cookie.

Thanks,
Olivier

    Hi Olivier,

I wrote a fix for this. It needs QA, but it should go out sometime this week. Next week at the latest.

    I'll keep you posted.

    Cheers!

    Hi Olivier,

The form should now remember your stuff even if you navigate to KB and back, except in IE, because we hate IE.

    Cheers!

Everybody hates IE. Thanks a lot!

Guessing IE is cookie fallback only for storage? Oh well. :-)
