Feature request: add a floating support-team only box above the reply box for notes
Hi Tender!
I just had an idea for something that I think would be helpful. Basically, in dealing with support we have to keep track of system information for a user sometimes, or perhaps other notes, and sometimes it's challenging and time consuming to go back through the entire thread to find the information we need for a user. What would be easier was if there was a way to "add a note" (maybe via a button named that next to comment & close) with the comment/reply box that then always stayed above the comment/reply box and didn't get merged into the thread and was editable for easy reference and updating, and was also only visible to support staff.

Thanks for the suggestion, Scott.
We have customers that are doing similar things using their preferred CRM and custom JS to integrate customer lookups by email. We would also like to provide some level of native support for customer knowledge in Tender itself, but we don't have any specific plans at the moment. We've created a ticket to address this, so we can let you know when this changes.

Thanks for the reply! For this, I was thinking of something that was specific to a thread rather than specific to a customer--so notes for the thread that may include information about a customer or some other notes that we have that we want to keep viewable without going back through the thread to find any of our internal notes. This would be just like the internal reply box, except it would hover in a fixed location and not get lost in the thread.

Thank you Scott for the clarification, that gave me a lot of ideas. I think the functionality you've described would be a very good fit for Tender.
