Hey,

oftentimes it is very useful to know what kind of OS somebody uses (because people forget to mention this).
Could you please let the user choose to associate this kind of info with his person or a given discussion?

In other words:

- Somebody wants to start a discussion via the web interface
- His browser sends a User-Agent string
- Tender's interface displays the information to the user and gives the user the choice to attach this info to the discussion (or not)
- The discussion is created (with or without User-Agent info)
- Support staff immediately knows a little bit more about the problem and can avoid time wasting back and forth communication

Cheers,

User agent is visible if you click on 'edit' on a discussion or comment.

That's good to know, but quite cumbersome...
Why not make this kind of info visible right away (at least for support staff)?

    Hi Hendrik,

Actually this information is always available: just hover the web link at the top of the discussion.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks, Julien.

I was not aware of it—as it is quite hidden.
Just as a suggestion: Perhaps you want to make this a little bit more obvious. I would love to simply see a Windows or an OS X icon somewhere (or whatever other OS are out there).

    Cheers,
