email's from: field should be able to contain name of person replying
Re-Opening an old issue. I don't know if this was ever implemented but it's really really important to us that emails come from the person who is writing the reply and not from a standard catch all email address ( such as Shopify Support ).
The reason for this is that we are moving sales, consultation and support all 3 on tender and so a single From: address doesn't work well. What's more is that emails from "Shopify Support" don't feel as personal as ones from "Mike Rochon [email blocked]". Please allow us to use liquid ( or a simple regexp, works too! ) so that we can write "{{ user.name }} [email blocked]" in the from field.
Very small feature to implement. Very big improvement for your client.

I'm confused, we do this now. Emails should be from
YOUR NAME <[email blocked]>. As I understand it, putting something other than a tenderapp.com address is technically forging an email. We've had people tell us their email provider was blocking Tender emails because the From address didn't match the SMTP server.We've thought about allowing sites to enter their own SMTP info so that they could use their own domain name. Would you be open to that?

You always make such confusing decisions. OK so the email comes from
[email blocked] but you want people to reply to it?
This is definitely a pretty good situation you have there now but why not
[email blocked] instead ?

The reply-to header uses a special address for the replies. The

Yea i understand but think of it from a customers perspective who doesn't
know about tenders existence. They are trained to look for no-reply in email
addresses and figure that it means that clicking reply is not going to work.
