Option to hide private categories from list
It would be great to be able to hide a "private" category from the list of discussions.
We've migrated all our email support into Tender and we'd like to also migrate our pre-sales and billing emails - but it is kind of weird for all users to see a category that is almost always empty to their view.
I get the motivation, but it'd be nice to click a checkbox that
just removed a category from the list for non-support users. I
don't need it fully hidden or inaccessible - since its already
private. It'd be a nice little bit of cleanliness.

I'd like the same thing too. I want to use Tender to track some internal email handling and it wouldn't make any sense for these internal categories to be visible to the users.

Thanks for the feedback. I've added it to our feature request list.

I just pushed a quick checkbox for this feature. It just hides the category from the homepage. However, links to the category or issues in them will still work just fine (assuming the user has access to the discussion).
As you can see on our public discussion page, there's no Billing category anymore.
