Roll back KB Articles
Recently, we wanted to roll back a knowledge base article to an older version, but had to manually delete the green bits from the "show changes" preview and copy & paste the red bits into the article.
If we had to roll back many versions, it would take a long time, if we wanted to keep the same Markdown formatting.
What I suggest is that you add a third link to the revisions page in the dashboard: revert changes
This would create a new version that uses the saved content for that version.
Surely this is an obvious use-case for this feature, and I'm surprised it wasn't already there.

If you view the individual revision ('preview'), there's a link in the header that says "restore this version"

Not on my page there isn't. In the admin functions box there is just
"Latest version".

Kieran -
What KB was this? You should be able to go to the article versions page and restore for any of the versions available.
Let us know.
Thanks,
Nicole

You need to be viewing the list of revisions, (see attached) - click preview on the version you'd like to restore. If it says "latest version" then you are in fact viewing the latest version. Try previewing an older one.
