Missing Emails

We have a few rare cases where certain types of emails are blocked by spam rules at our mail host. If for some reason you are missing emails from customers in Tender, you should immediately contact us and let us know. To help us find out what went wrong and find the missing emails, it is very helpful to have the following information:

  • The exact date
  • The from field: which email address sent the email
  • The to field: what was the destination (your support email or the tender email)
  • Which email client was used to send the email: Thunderbird, Apple Mail, Gmail, etc.?
  • Does it have attachments?

While the information mentioned above is very helpful, nothing is more helpful than the source of the email itself. It contains very valuable information which we can't really obtain any other way.

Pasting the source in Tender

Once you have obtained the source of the email, you need to copy it, paste it in a text file, and save the text file. You can then include this text file as an attachment in the discussion.

We will be able to search it in our system, and track it much more easily since we will have all the information we could need.
