What are Companies?
Companies allows you to organize a group of users under a single company name, granting them access to each others discussions and allowing for a shared support environment between you and the Company.
The purpose of Companies is to allow users who are part of the same corporate group to access private discussions created by other members of the Company. For example, if your company works with a hosting company with support using Tender, any user who creates a discussion will generally be reporting an issue that is relevant to everyone in the company that uses that vendor's service. This is why we created Companies.

As a support user, to create a Company, go to your Supporter Dashboard and select the Manage Companies link in the left-hand sidebar:

Next, click the Create Company button in the top right of the Companies page.

Fill out the Company name, and click the Create button.
Lastly, you want to invite a user to the company. Click the Invite A New Person button.

Once a user has accepted their company invite, they have access to the private discussions created by other company members can even invite others to join their company.
Users can only be a member of one Company. In order for a user to see their Company's user list and discussions, they can simply click on their name at the top of each page and go to their User Profile. On that page, under their name they can see if they are a member of a Company. Clicking the Company name takes them to the Company User List where they can see members of their Company and invite new users. On that page, they can click a link to see all of the Company's discussions.
