Private invitations not being received

It turns out we choose last night to launch our private beta using Tender ... can anyone say Murphy's law :D

As our support site is private, I sent out around 50 or so invites. I know some people received them as people are joining, however I've gotten multiple emails from people stating that they haven't received them. I explained that they should look for tenderapp in the "from" (since it comes from you guys), I've asked them to check spam and I've even resent.

Do you think this is related to the slowdown?

Me again. I just received a message from someone that they received the activation token however when they try to login, it tells them "Sorry, that address is not
    eligible for a user account."

    Hey George,

We're currently experiencing some systemwide server issues and sincerely apologize about the inconvenience. It's most likely the cause as things in the job queue and system load have been off balance most of the morning.

Have they been able to get in yet? Have you tried a fresh invite recently?

    Hey Will,

I tried resending invites earlier but it didn't work. I will try again.

    Good luck today!

    Best,
    George

That's good to hear. We have a blog post up on http://hoth.entp.com/2009/10/27/postmortem-of-tender-issues explaining the issues.

Let us know if you have any further questions.
