multipass without a custom domain

i'm trying out tender and wanted to hook-up multipass because SSO is a definite requirement.

unfortunately, we need to wildcard our subdomains because our users get unique subdomains. we use godaddy which doesn't allow wildcard CNAMES so our wildcard is an A Record (though it's my understanding that wildcard CNAMES can cause issues with MX records).

I can't see any secure way around using multipass without a custom subdomain so I think there's two options:
1. get a domain like 4ormatsupport.com (not that great an option)
2. create an A record that points to your IP (also not a great option but I think I'd prefer this.)

any help/feedback/thoughts are appreciated.

cheers.

Are you talking about passing SSO values over cookies? We've started using URL based SSO tokens everywhere and find them better to work with. You can encode more custom properties, and you don't have to deal with the finicky nature of cookies.
