This problem is back. Seeing it on Mac OS X 10.5.8 on both FireFox 3.5.5 and Safari 4.0.4. On Safari I cleared cache, removed all cookies, and attempted to enter a ticket without logging in. The "hold tight for a second..." message just spins and spins.

Once, when loading the form on Safari loading up the cache javascript file timed out, but it loaded fine on a subsequent try.

I should note that I could post to the Tender problems forum using the same FireFox browser no problem. Just can post to my site, support.shotrunner.com.

What is the exact URL you are posting from on your site? We're currently trying to replicate the issue and record any possible errors that might be occurring to help locate the issue.

    Here:

And I'm doing it while not logged in (emulating a new user.)

I'm currently seeing it in both FireFox and Safari, even if I close/open the browsers, delete all cookies and clear cache.

    I've attached a picture.

    Thanks,
    Cameron

I'm running 10.6.2 locally with Safari 4.0.4 and Firefox 3.5.5 and I can't seem to replicate the issue on either browser with your site.

Can you enable the safari developer menu, http://www.macobserver.com/tmo/article/Safari_3.1_The_Magical_Devel... , and then open up the error console

img and see if it returns any errors.

I'm not completely sure what to look for, but I'm not seeing any obvious errors. Check the pictures. I did close and restart Safari again, clear cache, etc.

Note the first time I loaded the page, it took a really long time to load. But I couldn't tell what it was waiting on. (Picture 9)

The only thing I seeing that may be a clue at all is a message when I load the page:
"Resource interpreted as other but transferred with MIME type text/html." safari.css

This is an awkward bug to track down. We're planning on redoing the feature and removing this functionality completely. There won't be a separate "suggested articles" page that holds up your article submissions. We'll just display the suggested articles as you're entering it in. This should simplify the code and degrade nicely in older browsers.
