not getting email on new discussions
On our site we are using the API to have users post new questions, comments or problems.
However, if they post this way, I don't seem to get emails on new items. These items also seem to go straight into the "open" box skipping the inbox. To me this feels like a bug.
Discussions are closed to public comments.

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

Ah, this is indeed a bug. I have a fix going out tonight.

I also didn't get an email when you responded to this issue, not sure if thats the same bug :\

No, you're on the watch list for this discussion (see the watcher
widget in the upper right). Check your spambox.
Also, I deployed the fix for the API thing on Sunday. It should be
all good to go now.
