Discussion doesn't re-render after editing message to not use markdown.
I had entered a message by pasting some code in, and then realized the formatting was all messed up because I hadn't checked the "use plain text" box. However, when I edited the message and checked that box, it didn't appear to have any effect. Once I replied to the discussion again, suddenly the earlier message was correctly formatted.
My guess would be that there's caching in there of the discussion thread page, and since I didn't change the content of the message, it didn't trigger a cache clear?

Yes, it appears the cache timestamp is not updated in certain cases. I have a possible fix for this that I should be able to get out later tonight.

Actually, it seems to work now. What discussion are you having issues with? I'm able to change your comment from formatted to plaintext and back without caching issues.

It was on our company's support site/instance, discussion #100.
(Since this discussion isn't marked as private, I don't want to paste a
