Private pages showing in Google

Hello,

I've been meaning to bring this up for a while ... every week or so I get a Google alert for the name of our app with links to pages within our Tender account — and it's suppose to be private. Mostly it is user pages and discussions. When choosing to make a Tender account private, it should add a disallow robot.txt for our domain yes? It doesn't seem to be working ...

Best,
George

I don't understand -- we don't "allow" google to access anything users
can't see. So if users who aren't logged in can't see it, google
    can't.

Also, what do you mean by making your site private?

Also, if you can provide me with some examples, that'd really help
    debugging the issue!

I get Google Alerts for our product "subfolio". Here is the latest one I've received.

=== Google Web Alert for: subfolio ===

User: Jamie - Subfolio Support Subfolio Support. Jamie's Avatar. Jamie. Started 0 discussion(s) and made 4 replies. Topic, State, Replies, Latest Post ... http://support.subfolio.com/users/178953

I get ones like this on a regular basis.

Attached is a screenshot from Tender for a feature called "private mode". Since our app is currently in private beta, we don't want non-beta users to have access to Tender. We've been in private mode from day one.

Let me know if I am still unclear or if you need more examples.

    Best,
    George

Oh, weird! So the user profile page shows any public discussions
titles. OK, that'll be fixed in the next deploy (hopefully today.)
