Queue Notification

I'm demoing Tender, and it looks great so far! However, we are having one problem...

We followed the recommendations for setting up queues for individual support staff, and then setting email prefs so they get an email whenever an issue is added to their custom queue. However, we never seem to receive any emails when things are added to our individual queues. We receive other notifications as expected (our support lead gets an email whenever a new discussion starts in the Problems category, for instance), but if something gets added to our own custom queues we never get a notification.

    Matt -

You should be getting notification when someone else adds something to your queue, but if you are adding items to your own custom queue you won't. The logic there is that you are putting the issue in your queue so you know it's there. Being notified of something being added to a specific queue is a one time notification. If you want to be notified every time the discussion is updated you would need to subscribe to the discussion.

Let me know if I understood your issue correctly.

    Thanks,
    Nicole

Thanks for the quick response! That was the one combination we missed... Makes perfect sense now, and it worked correctly when we tested.
