Unable to accept a support staff invitation

I'm trying to accept an invitation for the hoptoadapp tender, but can't seem to login or create an account.

I can log into Hoptoad using either email or openid. After logging in, browsing to tender tells me that I'm "Logged in as jferris (anonymous) from Hoptoad."

Once I click on the invitation link, it tell me, "You're invited to Hoptoad's Tender Support," and asks me to login or register. On this screen, it still says that I'm logged in, but asks me to login anyway.

If I say that I have an account already, I'm presented with a login form. Neither openid or email work. Logging in with email gives me this error: "Couldn't log you in as '[email blocked]'" Logging in using openid gives me this error: "Sorry, unable to create a user profile from your OpenID Provider: Email can't be blank, Email is too short (minimum is 6 characters), and Email should look like an email address."

If I try to create an account, it gives me this error: "We couldn't set up that account, sorry. Please try again, or contact an admin (link is above)."

I'm not sure how else to go about accepting this invitation.

    It looks like the account is there and valid. Have you tried a password reset and then logging into the hoptoad tender area?

    Also did you confirm your email (link in an email)

    I was able to accept the invitation after resetting my password. Thanks.
