I have had a couple of users of our support forum reporting that the search function is not particularly useful and effective. I have had the same experience. Many times I find myself search for a word I know to be in more than one discussion and get zero results. Whats up with tender search?

for example if I search for the term "search" I would expect to see this discussion in the results. And I do not.

When I search for 'search' I indeed get this discussion (on page 2). Narrowing it down to 'search effective' I get exactly this discussion: https://help.tenderapp.com/search?q=search%2Beffective&t=d&scope=all

Are you sure that you're not searching FAQs when you're looking for discussions? You can set the default search functionality in Admin / Site Settings (either FAQs or Discussions). By default, we search for FAQs to head off new support questions.

Let me know if you have any more specific searches and results you'd expect to find.
