Confused - how do I configure my project?
I'm stumped - I created a trial project and can't seem to figure out: - How do I add other users to the project (support staff)? - How do I hook up my Tender project to Lighthouse?

From the admin/dashboard area, click 'support users' to modify support users, and 'site settings' to configure things like the Lighthouse setup options.

Strange - I don't see any links for admin/dashboard, clickable support users, or site settings. Here's what I see:

I just created the project (projectdx.tenderapp.com) this morning. I'm using OpenID for my account ID / auth.

Chris: I had the same issue and reported it on launch day in a private ticket but have gotten no response. If you register a new account and enter a normal login, it works, but with OpenID, no dice. It seems that the OpenID method is creating a normal user account rather than an elevated admin account.

Creating an account with openid won't promote it to an admin user. You'll have to add the openid server to your existing user profile in the 'my profile' link, and invite any new users in the support user section from the admin.
However, since you've already created a user account with the openid url, you'll have to either invite that user's email address, or remove the openid setting and use it on your actual admin account.
We can't automatically bump openid user accounts to support user status for security reasons.
Chris: I apologize for missing your support request. Obviously Tender is designed to prevent issues from getting missed. That's strange, we have one or two people that should be monitoring all issues...

I thought it was likely something like that. So the question is: can my profile be modified to give me admin privs on my project?

Still confused here. If I created the project with my openID login, and if I can't add users using that login because it isn't an admin account, how can I invite other users to the project? If I create a new account with a different email address, how do I then link that account to the project?
If I try to bind my openID to a new account that I create, I see this:

Chris: Okay, you didn't give your site name so I found it based on your url. I have an idea what the problem is that caused it. However, you managed to create two user profiles. Did you skip the user creation step when creating the site?

The OpenID url must be unique in a site. You'd have to remove it from one user profile before you try to add it to another. At any rate, I set the site owner to the user with the OpenID set.
I assumed you had gone through the signup creation and created the initial user, and then tried to login with OpenID, creating a second user. Somewhere people are getting derailed from the setup process, either through clicking the wrong link somewhere, or the openid signup form not passing the correct parameters.

When I initially created my user account I used OpenID. I only recently created a second profile to try your steps above. I think the unhappy path is when you create a new site using only OpenID as the profile.

Ok, what a lame issue. I'll get that resolved ASAP. You're good to go on your Tender site though, right?

Yes - just re-authenticated with my OpenID and I seem to be good to go now.

I'm having the same problem but never manage to find the admin section. Created a new site using my OpenID. I have also tried logging in via e-mail and creating a new account.
This is sooo annoying.

Jacob: please open up a private issue with actual details on your site, and I'll look into it.
