How can I remove the word "support" in the title?

We plan to utilize Tender as a forum (discussions) with articles (knowledge base). As such, we don't want the word "support" in the title of our Tender. How do I remove it?

Also, are there any other tips for utilizing Tender as a regular forum + articles?

  1. You can't remove the Support, it's appended to the title of the site. We will be removing that soon.

For the most part, Tender works just like a forum. The end user doesn't quite have the same views, such as what's new since their last visit. I think it would be best if we asked you for feedback about how it works as a forum. The landing page for Tender isn't forum focused, it's an overview of the Tender and an easy way to start a discussion. Areas like that can probably be improved upon down the road. The email integration is amazing for user communication/discussion though.

  2. My suggestion would be to:

    • have a checkbox on the admin side controlling whether "Support" is appended to the title,
    • have users manually add "Support" to the title and remove the automatic addition, or
    • to allow users to manipulate the currently non-editable textual elements in an "advanced" admin menu.

Just my two cents. We're still trying to figure out if Tender is going to be a good fit. We use CustomerHub, which is how we discovered Tender.

  3. If we host it on our own server, we would have access to the code in order to make those changes, right?

  4. Sean,

We don't currently offer a self-hosted version of Tender.

  5. How long should we expect to wait for the ability to change that?

  6. Sean,

There are currently no plans to offer a self-hosted Tender, sorry.

    Thanks and regards,
