Confirmation Emails
Should I receive a confirmation email when starting a discussion? I marked it as private if that affects anything. I couldn't tell if my support request was actually received.
Discussions are closed to public comments.

Not yet, but discussion auto responses are the next feature we're rolling out. It's nearly ready, pending some QA testing.
