Can I use client's email as default name instead of 'Anonymous' when client send email to start a discussion?
When a client send an email to start a discussion, the
discussion's owner's name is set to 'Anonymous' as default.
I prefer to use the email address instead of 'Anonymous' . So that
seems to be more polite to my clients.

Sure I'll make that tweak. We take the name if their client specifies it (
rick <[email blocked]>
). We used to take the email address and 'sanitize' it, but some customers freaked out because we were displaying their email address on the site. The default name has gone through several variations.2 Posted by rick on 22 Aug, 2009 06:00 PM
Update: this is committed and will be pushed by Monday morning most likely.
