Hi there,

I'm evaluating Tender to see if it will work for our company. It looks and works really great so far!

I have a question...

We have various different products (5 to be exact) and different websites for each of these products. We don't want customers who use product X to end up on product Y's Tender site.

How would you go about configuring Tender in this situation? Would our only option be to open 5 Tender accounts? This would prove to be quite costly.

Tender seems to be by far the most simple and helpful solution I have come across.

Thanks!

Adrian

    Hey Adrian --

At this point in time, you'll have to go with the multiple Tenders route. We do realize the complications and inconvenience of pricing with multiple sites, so it's something we're trying to work on for the future.

One feature we hope to roll out in the not too distant future is multiple LH syncing to a single Tender account, which in theory would allow for categories per application and then each one could sync to it's own ticket system.

There are a lot of variables with multiple apps inside one tender though, we have to consider UI changes, the admin panel is streamlined to one feed, so that would need some rethought, etc.

Those things are areas we are thinking about in future development and how to handle. Another option might be some sort of bulk pricing scheme, where you can purchase additional sites as a modular addition to your plan. But right now, we just haven't made it that far in our development track.

If each product has it's own site though, separate Tenders would be the best route in my opinion. A little custom css and custom domain magic, and you're got 5 very separated support identities. Of course if your users cross over to multiple applications, that might be a pain as well.

Anyway, there are a lot of variables to consider on both the user end and our development end. If you have any specific questions, feel free to let us know.
