Ability to associate one issue/topic with another
If someone is creating an issue/topic that has already been address in a previous topic, is there a way to associate them? Similar to a bug tracking system where you can say its a duplicate or its related, dependent, etc.
Thanks,
george

There isn't right now, but we have a few ideas on this subject (merging threads, attaching threads, etc). We haven't started any development on this yet though.

OK cool thanks. As a new user of Tender, can you let me know how you guys internally handle this?
On a side note, have you guys ever thought about publishing (to your blog or something) "Protocols and workflows ... how Tender users Tender on a day to day basis". Personally I'd find this super interesting.

We have some ideas on some workflow screencasts that might cover Tenders workflow from both the support user and standard user viewpoints. But we haven't really started to step in that direction as of yet.

There are several ways we handle this, depending on the exact situation. Sometimes people post the exact same question multiple times. We just reply to the duplicates that we're resolving them, and direct them to the original. Usually though, we'll link multiple discussions to a single Lighthouse ticket. When that ticket is resolved, we then go through the issues one by one and respond.
The process is a little ghetto, but it hasn't been a big burden for us yet. Ideally we'd have something simple and elegant that works completely in Tender.

Ghetto is fine by me, its better than an over-bloated software app. We will drink no wine before its time.
Thanks Will and Rick! Closing this ticket.
