Changing the subject of a Topic/Issue
I try to use the edit comment functionality, but it does not update the topic. Users tend to make subjects that are vague, I'd like them to be more specific for future searchers. Is this possible?

You can edit the title of a ticket from the bottom of the ticket.
Just click the change title text...
I agree, it's a little awkward missing from the edit ticket area, but it has something to do with the caching code and this was an easier solution at the time, but the text should be a button or clear indicator, it's hidden at the bottom in plain text.

Hi Will,
I mean for TenderApp discussions.

Ugh. I'm sorry. I totally had a Lighthouse and Tender windows open at the same time and mixed them up.
smacks self
One problem is that the URL is based on the original topic, so even though it's vague, that's an area where users just happen to have control. We could allow for changing the topic, but the discussion URL would have to remain unchanged. As to why there is an edit field there that doesn't work, I'll have to tap one of the developers on the shoulder tomorrow to investigate.

I wouldn't mind that the permalink stays the same, but being able to
change the topics to something with more context would be a real help.
When they ask "omg please help!!!" I'd much rather it express their
actual problem for other users when they are searching :>

An internal ticket was created for this discussion

I assigned this discussion to a ticket for a developer to take a look as soon as possible.
Thank you for the feedback.

Fixed the issue. Some clever caching code only allowed title updates if the discussion only had one comment. Not very useful! Thanks for the report.
