Forum software using multipass / Single Sign On
I'm a huge fan of your Multipass SSO setup. It took me about an hour to set up and has been a seamless integration with my userbase. Now, I'm looking to find a community forum to replace my aging Beast forum, and I'd love to get one that supports SSO like you guys do, or in some similar fashion.
Do you have any recommendations? I know that technically, the discussion portion of Tender could be considered a forum, but I'm looking for something that is separate from our support forum. The interface will hopefully be pretty much the same, but without all the extra text and such relating to getting product support.

Tender is definitely geared towards being the combination community and support forum. The prototype was actually a modified Altered Beast forum :)
We're looking at adding some special category types to strip out some of the 'support forum' features just for a category however: such as the issue state, LH integration, queues, etc.
Most good forums are open source though, as well as the multipass token spec. We actually worked with UserVoice on it and should be fully compatible with their implementation.

On your advice, I looked at UserVoice, and it would be great, but the $89/mo
price point is way too high for what we want.
However, I'm excited to hear that Tenderapp is looking at adding community
forums, as we love the support aspect and would love to have an integrated
support/community forum. That would be huge for us. Any ETA on when it
might be coming, or some clue as to where it is on the priority list?
Thanks for getting back to me,
Micah

We're hoping for December, but some of the things we're finishing up now are taking a bit longer in the QA/Design phase. I think we'll be pushing out a blog post later today talking about our progress.
