i18n capabilities
We are in the process of localizing our platform and are
currently using tender as the knowledge base. I have found a number
of threads regards i18n support, but none of them were pointing to
a potential date when this might be available.
Could you please provide some insight around when this enhancement
might be expected?

Our i18n is currently in beta testing mode. You would not be able to use your current site yet with the multi-language features, but you can make a test site on http://yoursite.eu.tenderapp.com/ (replace yoursite with a name).
It shows the multiple languages for each FAQ article as well as users selecting their
own language for the forum view. We are still building this feature and aren't quite happy with the implementation at this time, but it will be helpful to have additional users on this new test, and your input can help us shape the multi-language support as we whip it into shape.
You will eventually have the ability to upload your own language files for the site (we have to add them manually for now), so if you find that you need to make your own language file, answer in this discussion and we can show you where to get the language file to edit and return to us.
On that site we are not enforcing trial limits, so if you get a "trial expired" notice, you can ignore it, as we will not lock users out for the duration of the beta.

We will take a look a the beta version and familiarize ourselves with the features.
Would you have any insight if this becomes available and in production in 2012?

We are a small shop and usually only schedule our work out a week or two in advance. All I can say is that work on moving this feature from beta to production is not currently scheduled.
