Hi folks
I'm tried to log in to support.github.com using my openid but it doesn't work.
The questions is: Do I need to sign up again for using my openid?
regards, Fritzek

We upgraded to ruby-openid 2.1 last night, and I think it's causing some problems. It works for some people, but not others. What kind of URL are you using? For instance, I'm using my blog with meta tags that delegate to myopenid.com. It doesn't work, but someone else is having success using their myopenid url directly.

    Hi rick,
using myopenid.com too. will give it another try in hope the upgrade fixed the prob.
but I guess its less a technical than a organisational prob. Tekkub from github pointed me to tender to ask about the openid. I was believing that support.github.com shares the same logins as github.com and gist.github.com. seems not so will create another account. I'm right?
    regards, Fritzek

I thought your question was a general "openid server not found message," like the one I'm getting now...

All Tender user profiles are shared, and unique by email and/or open id url. If you have never used tender, OpenID will create your profile for you. But if you have an existing profile with the same address, you'll have to setup OpenID support in your profile.

We just launched a brand new feature that'll let Github set authentication cookies that Tender can read and log you in with. We'll be working with them to make sure they enable that soon so you never have to log into support.github.com again :)

For anyone playing at home, the openid issue I was originally referring to has to do with my blog's web server returning a 400 request when the OpenID library sent a Range http header. That means the problem is on my end and and not Tender's.
