What is a "Comapny" within Tender?
What can I do when I create a new Company? Is it possible to somehow use that to have a sub-account type thing where I could have custom styling and stuff?

No, a Company is a way to let your users self-organize. It makes more sense if you have groups of customers in the same organization. Being in the same company lets them see each other's private issues.
