Questions for setup
Hey Guys,
We're setting up Tender for a site release TODAY! (woo hoo!) I had
a few questions for you.
First of all, I setup my account so that the user's message goes through a FAQ search before the message is submitted? This would eliminate unnecessary messages coming into us and would help the user's question get answered before they even submit it? (#1 request!)
Secondly, is it possible to embed a hyperlink into FAQ questions so that the user doesn't have to see the entire site? they could just do the whole, click 'here'?
Finally, is it possible to have a section within a section for
FAQs?
Thanks!!! I look forward to your response,
Sarah

Hey Sarah,
We're tweaking the FAQ suggest so that users get a button to resolve
their issue. It used to be a "Click here if this didn't answer your
question" but people didn't see it and would get angry. We hope to get
this new button deployed today or tomorrow.
Can you define #2 - "Secondly, is it possible to embed a hyperlink
into FAQ questions so that the user doesn't have to see the entire
site? they could just do the whole, click 'here'?"
Do you mean in the email response?
#3 - no, there's only one layer deep of FAQ sections. Keeping it
simple as possible.

Thanks for the quick response.
So for my first question, will they be prompted to search through the FAQ before their issue is submitted?
For #2, I would like to have links to our site within the FAQ... so instead of them seeing http://www.mapmyfitness.com/training_plans/training_plan_preference?tp=629315588986 they would just see, click 'here' for _______

Sort of correct - we create the discussion first, then they are
prompted to close the discussion if they find something that matches.
Yes, you can do that - the FAQs take standard HTML as well as
Markdown. If you follow the links within the FAQ edit page
("formatting help") they explain how to craft links.

Great! Thanks for your help!!
So will the FAQ/discussion prompt just go live, or will I have to do anything to my site to enable it?

This new option will just magically go live later today or tomorrow.
