Searching private discussions

When a user is logged in to the site (not as a support staff) they can not search their own private discussions. Is that correct?

Since we are making all discussions private by default (we have no public discussions at all) the whole search feature is useless.

Any plans on changing this behaviour?

Regards,
Adrian

Hey Adrian. We haven't really come across that scenario to that scale yet. They easily have access to all their discussions, but you are correct, the search will not show a user their private discussions.

I'll bring this up with the team and let you know our official standpoint on that soon.

Thanks :-) I have hidden the search feature using CSS for the moment.

Ideally if you could set it at the company level that all members of a company can view and search private messages (including viewing previous messages which do not seem to appear at the moment).

    That would be brilliant. :-)
