Is it possible to change a user's email address, either the user changing it themselves or an admin doing it for him?

If you click on the users name, or go to your member management area, you can select the edit user option on their user profile page if you're an admin.

A user has access to update their email from their edit profile page, if they click their name in the top right, then select the edit your profile button.

Thanks! I found the "edit" link by each user's name in the member management area.

However, the user cannot edit their own address when editing their profile. With my user, at least, there is no email field. I can see name, password, password confirmation, & company in the "Basic Account Information" section, a single "set OpenID" field in the "OpenID" section, and a few checkboxes to set email notifications in the "Email Preferences" section.

Ah, that might just be an oversite on our behalf in some UI changes. I'll file a ticket and we'll take a look.

    Thanks for the heads up.

Hey Eric, what is the URL you are on for your profile where you do not see the email editing option?

Eric, did you log in to the site from SSO? That's about the only situation where you wouldn't have access to the email field.

By SSO, do you mean Multipass? I have used that method, yes. I've tried these ways:

    • Going to "locallygrown.tenderapp.com" and clicking "Log In"
    • Going to "help.locallygrown.net" and clicking "Log In"
    • Clicking a link on my app that uses Multipass to log me in automatically
    • Using the widget in my app that also uses Multipass to log me in

All four of those methods do not have an email field on my profile form.

However, if I try to edit my help.tenderapp.com profile, I do see it there.

That would be the reason, if the profile was created with multipass than the email field is not editable. It's kind of tricky, but something we'll take a look at for a workaround.
