Email setup
Hi,
I have a couple of questions that I can't find in FAQs.
• Is it possible for my reply to a support request to come from my app name rather than my name as it appears in my profile. i.e. at the moment if I reply to a support request, in the inbox it says:
from: Ed Lea
but I want to to say:
from: MyApp
or
from: MyApp : Ed Lea
or some other custom value.
Also, can emails come from [email blocked]? rather than [email blocked] ?

You'd have to modify your user profile to be your app name vs user name, or create a profile for the app name and login with that.
You can fake reply-to email, but the from email is technically always the tender email. It's not really possible to do it without spoofing, and there is potential issues that spam systems and email apps will reject that.
The reply-to option is really what users notice though. If you go to Site Settings at the top --> then Email Setup --> then the Sending & Receiving options, then scroll down to Email Delivery and enter your email address in the reply-to field.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. There are spam issues but campaignmonitor have a way
round it with adding some records to the domain name, but like you say, from
address is what people see.
