We made progress on Open Source projects using Tender. We don't currently have a way to disable private discussions on regular plans as of yet.

I think I was more interested in :

"We're also toying with the idea of supporting community forums. Basically, they'd work exactly the same as Tender discussions, without having to go through the open => resolved state workflow. We have an experiment right now, but there are a number of questions to answer first"

I guess, I'm wondering if we're likely to be able to see public forums without the open => resolved workflow ?

Right now, we're just not that far down the development path to implementing the options to disable/enable Tenders standard support workflow. We began structuring Open Source accounts with public facing features, but the UI implementation is fairly tricky.

I've marked your request down for our future development on such features.
