Could we use the software to build public and private communities. How will it bill?
Hi there,
We are developing an web application that helps job seekers get jobs. (jobfully.com). We just about finished with the core of our product, but there are a couple of areas we are thinking about are thinking about implementing Tender or similar solution:
- Support - where current and potential clients can get support
from Jobfully staff and each other about the product and also ask
billing questions.
- Community - where paid users can ask each other question specific to their job search, share job leads, strategies, interview questions, etc.
So question is how will we implement this using your software. Can we Implement one URL and make Support categories visible to public (anonymous) and other (Community) categories only to all logged in users. Is this sort of customization possible? Or are we better off considering implementing through two URLs? How will this be billed?
Another question: Are posts tagable? Also can people post as Anonymous as some people may not want to share their name when asking the community sensitive job search question (but they do want everyone to see the question and solicit answers)
Thanks,
Saqib

Hey Saqib. That's not really a scenario we've death with in Tender yet. You can have private categories, but they are not private between users, they are private between the user and support staff.
No, posts are not tagable.
Yes, they can enter whatever name they want, but if they email it in will use a truncation of their email settings.

Can we require people to register and login, but they can post questions
as anonymous? So their name doesn't show with certain posts.

No, we don't have that functionality. It sounds like you want
something pretty customized.
