SSO-less KB access?

Hey gang,

Wondering if there's a way to enforce SSO logins for Discussions, yet still let non-logged-in visitors view KB/Help content?

(Rdio just launched today, and we want forum posts to still be tied to rdio.com logins, but would like for FAQ/KB content to be visible without a login)

Thanks,
-Eric

Hey Eric. I'm still trying to wrap my head around this one a little. We deployed some SSO changes last weekend that alter the functionality a bit.

The login link kicks back to SSO and the create profile form is disabled, but if the user isn't logged in they can still view everything, including the kb, and post anonymously with forms. If they click the login link, their redirected back to rdio to login.

Ah ok. Then I think what I'm asking for is, the ability to not have a login
wall in front of KB/FAQ content, yet still have one in front of Discussions.

    That make sense?

So you don't want anyone to be able to read or write to the support/forum side of things without loggin in? But want the kb area to be public.

We changed the SSO stuff to basically force SSO, so users can't create separate Tender profiles. Now that rdio is public, I just figured you'd open up your Tender for that.

The main support URL in your footer uses multipass I think, so it fails if I'm not logged in. Pretty easy fix on your end though, for if they're logged in or not.

Looks like it's working fine -- thanks for your help.
