I use customer hub and have a single sign on pass through turned on so the only way a customer can log into my tender app is through customerhub.

How can i prevent someone from posting to discussions unless they are logged into my tender support area?

You would need to make your site private. This would allow only those with user profiles/logins to access all parts of your site. Do you want the general public to see your knowledge base articles? If not, then private is the best solution to stop non-users from being able to create discussions.

Let us know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

Does making it private entail a 99 dollar fee per month for the highest plan?

Yes, private sites is a feature of the Ultimo plan, but you get more than just the private feature. You also get custom branding (custom CSS, JS options) and the ability to flag users as Important/Beta and restrict content to those users. If you are using SSO you'll need the Extra level plan.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,

Of course that would require the highest plan :)

if I set it to Private is that going to interfere with customer hub when they access it using the single sign on link? Basically, I want to be sure, when I switch it new users that are coming through customer hub are not effected.

    Hi Matthew,

Having a Private site does not effect SSO. Basically, your customers would log-into CH and automatically be logged in to your Tender, seamlessly.

As a CH customer, you received 30% off of your Tender plan. That would make the bring the Ultimo plan down to $69.30. Just let us know once you sign-up, as we apply those discounts manually.

    Thanks!
