A ticket in a queue should count as being assigned
My main workflow is to look at "new" tickets so I can at least get a first answer out. Once I place a ticket in a queue I'd love for it to be marked as "assigned" so that I can easily see which tickets have not had any attention at all.

Yea we'll probably be adding that. Queues are still experimental and not even available to most users of Tender.
