include assigned items in my open items

I found a discussion about a bug I encountered in GitHub. I commented on the discussion because there's no way to click "follow this discussion." (Blah.) That didn't make it show up in "your open issues," though. Apparently that's because it's not open, but "assigned."

I still want to see updates!

    Thanks for the idea. There is a specific reason why the states Open and Assigned are separate. "Inbox" is the only default queue that transcends states, and is for anything not resolved where a user replied last. We should definitely add something for All Unresolved issues or something like that.
