Ability to "Lock" Threads
Hi,
I was wondering if you guys could add a setting that allows Tender
Users to select a timeperiod. Lets say User A opens a thread. Then
X time later User A reopens the discussion or User B comes along
and revives it. This is something some of us, mostly useful for
software tenderapp users, would love to see. I would love to
see:
A. A setting that allows us to control a max amount of time from
the time I close the discussion OR since the last reply, for which
replies/reopening can be posted. After which, users should be
forced to open a new thread.
B. A way for agents to "force-close" discussions. In the current
system, a new reply by the user can reopen it. In some scenarios
this is far from ideal.

Hi Chris,
These sound like pretty good ideas to me. I will pass along to our dev team. If they like them, we'll make a ticket!
Best,
Brandi

Also, I'm not sure if you've had a chance to use our Activity Filters yet? Maybe your suggestions could be added to the existing features.

I've never heard of it until now, but I can't figure out where it is.

P.S. Also, I think at some point, you guys should review the limitation on
discussion filters, given most of your competitors offer unlimited ones
with every play.

As per:

I doubt I have access to this feature yet?

Sorry, Chris, I spoke too soon. Activity filters are not yet available on OSS plans :-/ We'll let you know if that changes.
I'll pass along your suggestion on filters in our weekly meeting tomorrow.
Thanks!
Brandi
