Please add display of category of an issue in inbox
When I answer tickets I always look in the inbox. I like to have a label here that says "this issue resides in category 'suggestions'" e.g. Something that indicates which I have to answer first. I like to prioritize by categories. Sales questions e.g. are more important than feature requests.

Do you mean inbox like, your mail inbox, or on the dashboard?

I mean on the dashboard. You have an indicator for your own queues but not for categories.

Just a quick note: this is in the works. We're still figuring out some UI issues with this and a few other changes, but we should have something out soon.

I agree that this is necessary. The counters & links on the dashboard appear to ignore custom categories. The only way I know whats happening in my custom categories is by clicking on "all issues" which is clearly suboptimal.

Hey Guys,
As part of our new dashboard design - http://hoth.entp.com/2009/8/28/the-new-dashboard-context-discussion... - the category is now added to the display.
This is only the start of a true fix for the problem (as this only shows the category, it doesn't allow you to automatically filter yet). We have some better solutions in the works, but it may take some time for us to iron it out completely.

On the dashboard, each pending issue lists what category the discussion belongs to. This is what we currently have in place for the dashboard.
If you create custom categories/queues, those will appear in the lefthand sidebar.
